Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 2026

Our Commitment

KnobbyTalk is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards as part of our ongoing effort to ensure equal access for all users.

What We've Done
  • Skip navigation link — keyboard users can jump directly to main content
  • Descriptive alt text on images, including user avatars
  • High-contrast color scheme with a dark theme designed for readability
  • Semantic HTML structure with landmark regions (nav, main, footer)
  • Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements
  • Form labels explicitly associated with their inputs
  • Resizable text — the site remains usable when text is scaled up to 200%
Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas still being improved:

  • The forum markdown editor may have limited screen reader support
  • Some user-generated content (posts and images) may not include alt text provided by the original poster
